Far too often, we see vulnerable women not qualifying for legal aid; however, they cannot afford to pay the extortionate fees for commercial solicitors. Therefore, we established ourselves as a non-profit ‘alternative business structure’ law firm to assist the women of Hull, Leeds, and the rest of England and Wales for about a third of the commercial cost.

A: Our research has found that women seeking family law services have been worst affected by the significant legal aid eligibility cuts. It’s because of this that we established ourselves as a registered charity to assist women in family law matters.

A: Our services are not the same as legal aid; what we offer is legal advice, assistance, and representation to women who do not qualify for legal aid and cannot afford to pay for a commercial solicitor.
